Kirkland resident patents I-Pass holder for motorcycles

“Two years ago, Johnny Myers nearly wiped out while riding his motorcycle on the interstate. Myers, of Kirkland, was steering the bike with one hand and holding up his I-Pass transponder with the other when his front tire hit a storm grate, he said. Myers, a welder, began playing around with pieces of metal, designing a holder for the transponder that would hold it securely in place at the proper angle for it to register as he drove through a toll. He mounted the bracket to his bike, and the Motorcycle Pass was born….” [more]
